The Oval

By Car

The ground is situated on the A202, near the junction with the A3 and A24, just south of Vauxhall Bridge and 10 minutes from Victoria and Waterloo. No match day car parking is available at or in the vicinity of the ground and we advise all customers to use public transport.

Entrance to the Ground - is via the Pavilion End of the ground on County Match Days. On International days ticketing will indicate the correct entrance. For Oval Events please consult your event documentation

By Tube

Take the Northern Line from the City or Central London to the Oval tube station. The main entrance to the ground is 100 metres on your left on leaving the station. The ground is also a ten minute walk from Vauxhall tube station which is on the Victoria line.

By Train

Vauxhall
Take South West Trains to Vauxhall station which is a short walk from the ground. The station is well served by trains throughout Surrey and Hampshire as well as from the Greater London area. Station info from National Rail.

By Bus

Route numbers 36, 185 and 436 stop outside the ground and other local services stop around the corner. The following buses set down within a 5-minute walk of the ground, 3, 109, 133, 159, 333.

From north:
from M25 junction 10 take A3 (Portsmouth Road), take A320 (south) towards Guildford city centre (Stoke Road), at junction with A246 (York Road) turn right, at roundabout turn right into Woodbridge Road (A322), Wharf Road is the second turning on the left.

From south:
from A3100 (Portsmouth Road) or A281 (Horsham Road) continue into Guildford, follow signs to A322 round central Guildford (Bridge Street, Onslow Street) to roundabout at junction with A246 (York Road), then as for north.

From east:
as for north from M25 junction 10.

From west:
from A3 or A31, follow A3 to junction signposted to Guildford city centre, Cathedral and University, at roundabout take left lane into Guildford (Midleton Road), turn right at traffic lights into Woodbridge Road (A322), ground is on the right-hand side immediately after railway bridge.

from The Brit Oval follow the A23 through Streatham and Thornton Heath to Purley (Purley Way), at Fiveways Corner take second exit into Denning Avenue (B275), follow this road into Warham Road, Nottingham Road is second turning on the right.

From south:
from M23 junction 8 stay on M23, after junction 7 continue on A23 (north), at Purley Cross follow signs to A235 (Brighton Road), Nottingham Road is approximately 2 miles further on the left hand side.

From east:
from M25 junction 7, follow M23 (north) then continue on A23 towards London, then as for south.

From west:
from M25 junction 7 as for east.
